HAVE Support is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide Behavioral Support Services (BSS) – Implementation to adults receiving Maryland DDA services. This is a contract (1099) position offering flexible scheduling and meaningful, person-centered work throughout the State of Maryland.
RBTs will implement behavior support strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.

Service Area
- Multiple counties throughout Maryland
- Travel required based on individual assignments
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) developed by the supervising BCBA
- Provide BSS – Implementation services to adults in home and community settings
- Use positive, trauma-informed, and person-centered behavioral strategies
- Support adults in building functional, adaptive, and replacement skills
- Collect and report accurate behavioral data
- Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding progress, concerns, and outcomes
- Participate in required supervision, trainings, and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain timely, accurate service documentation in compliance with DDA and agency standards
- Follow ethical and professional standards in accordance with the BACB Ethics Code
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Experience supporting individuals with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Challenging or complex behaviors
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Maryland DDA Behavioral Support Services
- Ability to follow written behavior plans and clinical direction
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across assigned counties
Compensation
