As the President of HAVE Support, you shall provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to effectively implement our organization's mission, vision, and values. You shall drive the organization's growth, impact, and sustainability while upholding its commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities. As a passionate advocate, you shall collaborate with stakeholders, engage with the community, and advance policies that create lasting, positive change for people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Vision and Strategy:
- Develop and articulate a compelling vision aligning with the organization's mission and values.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans that drive the organization's growth, impact, and sustainability.
- Foster an environment of innovation and forward-thinking to respond to the evolving needs of the PIDDD community.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide visionary leadership to a diverse team of professionals, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative working environment.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, community organizations, and government entities to advance the organization's goals.
- Champion a culture of inclusivity, empathy, and continuous learning among the staff and volunteers.
Advocacy and Policy Initiatives:
- Serve as a passionate and vocal advocate for the rights and well—being of individuals with disabilities.
- Lead advocacy efforts to influence policy changes that positively impact the PIDDD community at local, regional, and national levels.
- Engage with policymakers, legislators, and other influential stakeholders to drive positive change.
Organizational Performance:
- Oversee the organization's operations, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, financial sustainability, and responsible resource management.
- Monitor and evaluate the organization's impact and effectiveness in achieving its goals and outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in programs, services, and operational processes to enhance the participant experience.
External Relations and Fundraising:
- Represent HAVE Support in public forums, conferences, and events to raise awareness about the organization's mission and impact.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to secure funding and resources that support the organization's growth and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven leadership experience at the executive level, preferably in the nonprofit sector or organizations focused on disability advocacy.
- Strong passion for social justice, disability rights, and creating an inclusive society.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, visioning, and problem—solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in advocacy, public speaking, and policy engagement.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and resource management.
- A track record of fostering collaboration and building partnerships.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about advancements in disability-related fields.
